Traveling with your sports team can be a fun and memorable experience. With a little planning, you can ensure that everyone get quote for van rentals

goes home with a smile on their face. If you’re just in the initial planning stages, the best place to begin is by contacting a convention and visitor bureau. They are experts in their local community and can guide you to venues that are just right for your group.

When planning, consider renting a van and organizing group activities such as trips to museums, shopping centers, theme parks and sightseeing at the main attractions throughout the city. If you are a coach or chaperone and traveling with a group, it’s not unusual to have unique concerns and requirements.

Here are a few tips to help keep your team safe and together during your travels:

-  Book hotels with adjacent rooms or, if that is unavailable at your hotel, try to group the rooms as close together as possible. Most likely, your team won’t cause any trouble, but it will make your life a lot easier considering that coaches and parents will ultimately be held responsible for any bad behavior in the hotel.get quote for van rentals

-  Choose a hotel that offers free breakfast. Not only does it help cut down on the travel expenses, it is extremely convenient for everyone to gather together in the hotel lobby for breakfast each morning. Your team will be able to sleep in a little extra and get a nice breakfast in the morning so players will be in good shape to play their best when game time rolls around.

Rent a large van to keep the entire team together during your travels. This is a great way to ensure that no one gets lost and everyone makes it to your destination in a timely manner. Plus, this is the perfect opportunity to build camaraderie between teammates. What better way to build friendships than enjoying time on the road and seeing the sights of the city together?

-  Book your travel well in advance, especially if you are traveling for a tournament You may think that you have plenty of time to book group travel for your team, but many towns have limited hotel space and, if possible, it is best to book at least 60 days in advance to ensure the highest availability.

Booking your sports team’s travel is very important. Give your players the best opportunity to win by planning ahead and using all of the tools available. By booking in advance, choosing the right hotel and renting a large van, you’re team is well on its way to a trip that will be remembered for years to come.

    Travel to Miami Florida

    March 5, 2009

Welcome to Miami — the sunny southern city in the sunny state of Florida. To most people who have never taken a Miami trip, just think of Sonny Crocket and Ricardo Tubbs in a speedboat chasing some drug dealers. Be your own judge and take a Miami Vacation to find out what this city really is like: a melting pot of cultures, a warm and friendly city on one of the most beautiful spots in the world, a city of great architecture and the perfect starting point for exploring the rich variety of sights and sounds in Florida. Downtown Miami has the largest concentration of International Banks in the United States. Miami was named a Gamma world city based on its economic importance especially towards Latin America. U.S. Southern Command Headquarters are in Miami, also the National Hurricane Center calls Miami home. When you are in Miami, one thing is sure, you will not be bored! There are too many Miami activities to enjoy such as going to museums, hanging out at one of many Miami restaurants ( http://miami.diningguide.com ) cafes, or bars, and dancing until dawn at a hot nightclub.

Now, if you haven’t taken a Miami trip for Memorial Weekend, you are missing out.  Imagine BCR weekend in Daytona with class and about 100,000 more people.  There are three main streets where all the action can be found: Ocean, Collins, and . All three streets are within walking distance from one another. A great place to find excellent Miami

is along the ocean — and it’s well worth the money. You’re always within walking distance to the beach, of course and a Starbucks is always nearby.  Hey, did you know you could stay in Versace’s house for about $1,200.00 per night?

The beach is beautiful, the water is very warm and the view to the bottom of the ocean is crystal clear. You can rent an umbrella and 2 lounges for about $24 for the entire day. It’s not as hot as you think it would be on the beach, however.  It’s actually hotter on the strip than on the beach. Collins offers plenty of shopping and lots of expensive boutiques. The Miami restaurants in the area are pretty amazing as well and reasonably priced. Ocean drive restaurants may be a bit more expensive, but the excellent cuisine and service is well worth the price tag.

The Art Deco architecture in the old section of Miami Beach alongside the beach is impressive and worth a leisurely stroll to view its beauty.

New York City is small in size but big in numbers. It’s the most densely populated city in North America with 8 million citizens on just 830 km2 of land. It’s always been a city of immigrants, and even today about one third of its citizens are foreign born. Roughly 138 languages are spoken here, and vibrant new ethnic enclaves pop up all over the city, offering visitors interesting cultural and culinary experiences.

get quote for van rentalsWhile the city pulses with the blood of its newest residents, old New York is still alive and well. Opera still bursts from the venerable stage of Lincoln Center; Wall Street, the hive of capitalism, still bustles with the excitement and tension of the stock market; and the stately apartments of New York’s wealthy still frame majestic Central Park. New York City is made up of five boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Mostly when people speak of New York they mean Manhattan.

Visitors with a little extra time on their hands should pay a visit to Brooklyn. Though once considered dangerous, New York has cracked down on street crime and is now one of America’s safest cities. The best way to see it is to walk. Numbered streets in Manhattan make navigation easy. Streets run from east to west, and avenues intersect from north to south (uptown and downtown).

New Yorkers are friendly and talkative (contrary to their reputation) and nearly every night of the week the city’s bars and clubs are crowded with revelers. There are several universities in New York ( New York University, Columbia University in the City of New York )  which contribute to keeping the city young. Mercedes Sprinter Van: Perfect For Equipment

    March 4, 2009

Moving & storage work is complicated and requires a lot of special tools and equipment to get the job done. Do you feel like Dodge Sprinter Cargo Van Rentalsyou have to cram your stuff into your current vehicle? Does the inside look jumbled and messy and do you feel like you can’t find anything? If your answer is ‘yes’, then you might want to consider updating your work vehicle to a Mercedes Sprinter van. This versatile vehicle is ideal for just this line of work.

Now, you’re probably wondering why you should consider making this change at all. Here are several attributes of the Mercedes Sprinter that’ll have you wondering why you didn’t get one sooner.

    1. Cargo space- The very large cargo space holds all of your equipment. The cargo version is nearly twenty- four feet in length with a ceiling height of about seven feet.

Rent Dodge Sprinter Cargo Vans2. Ceiling height- The cargo version allows for a ceiling height of seven feet. How great is that when you are trying to find a tool in the back or packing up the equipment at the end of a tough job. The last thing you want is to have to crouch and crawl around in the back of the vehicle. This one allows you to stand up straight, unless maybe you are also a professional basketball player.

    3. Gas mileage- You have an option of gas or diesel engine. While the gas engine gets great mileage, the diesel gets the best mileage among all of its competitors. Your business is on the road. You have to go where the emergency is and that means driving. Especially now, getting good gas mileage is a top priority for keeping the business in the black.

    4. Customizing capabilities- Well, you’ve heard about the impressive cargo space and the ceiling height, but now what can you do with it? Because the walls of the Mercedes Sprinter are practically straight up and down, you can add shelving, containers, workbenches and cabinets to organize all of your specialty equipment.

    5. Maneuverability- Built for the narrow roads and limited parking of Europe, the Mercedes Sprinter van makes tight turns and fits snugly into spaces a normal utility van would not. Though it might look top heavy, it actually handles quite well on winding roads. After all, you never know where the next job site is going to be.

    6. European engineering- It’s a Mercedes, so you know that fine quality workmanship and German engineering went into the manufacturing of the parts and frame. This also means that it is a vehicle you can count on. Getting to your job site is essential to your work, so you need to know your van is going to be ready to go.

You may have noticed the price tag is a little expensive for the Mercedes Sprinter van Cargo Van Rental, but after reviewing the attributes above, you can see that it is well worth the price. By spending a bit more now, it can save you in the long run. You’ll save time by having your equipment organized and money because of the great gas mileage as well as the quality of the product means it won’t be in the shop all the time.
